The Morehouse Multimedia Center (MMC) is the premier hub for multimedia storytelling, innovation, and creative excellence within the Atlanta University Center. We offer a robust lineup of programs to support skill development and professional growth:
MMC ProSeries: A workshop series led by experienced professionals designed to empower students with advanced storytelling and production skills.
8thirty Media Group: Connects vetted student creatives with clients and advises on the business acumen needed for fair and successful collaborations.
The More Conversations Podcast: Sponsored by the Andrew Young Center for Global Leadership, this initiative puts scholars and experts in conversation while giving students hands-on multi-cam video and audio production experience.
MMC Productions: A collaboration between students, faculty, and staff to produce cutting-edge content, such as VR experiences and documentaries.
The Live Production Program: Provides hands-on experience producing live events, including Morehouse’s Crown Forum and athletic games.
Research Assistant Positions: Opportunities in "Spatial Storytelling" (using GIS to map cultural challenges) and the "Black History in Extended Reality (BHXR)" project.
