Spotify’s NextGen Creator Program has arrived at Morehouse, awarding five students with $10,000 scholarships each for the Spring 2026 semester. In addition to funding, the college received a donation of state-of-the-art audio equipment to support the scholars as they take over production of the Andrew Young Center’s More Conversations podcast. What does it mean to be a Black father in America today? It is a question that requires more than a simple answer; it requires an experience. The Morehouse College Class of 2025 has answered that call with a groundbreaking mixed-media project produced by the Journalism, Sports, Culture, and Social Justice program.

In the latest installment of the MMC ProSeries, students joined an immersive workshop dedicated to the high-stakes world of sports photojournalism.

The Maroon Tiger (MT) is celebrating its 100th year anniversary. Founded initially as the Anthanaum in 1898, Morehouse College’s student media organization changed its name to The Maroon Tiger in approximately February 1925.

Maroon Tiger Sports Network students got hands-on experience operating professional camera gear during a recent home football game.

The inaugural Multi-camera Production workshop culminated in student staffers of The Maroon Tiger applying their skills to interview Morehouse's new president.
