The Maroon Tiger Wins Emmy at the 2026 Southeast Regional Student Production Awards

Several students from The Maroon Tiger, Morehouse College’s longstanding student news organization, were recognized at the 2026 Southeast Regional Student Production Awards, presented by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. The team earned an Emmy win and additional nominations in interview and discussion categories, as well as in the promotional video category.

The award winners were provided gear and training via the Morehouse Multimedia Center and the production was directly advised by the Center’s Director, Emani Saucier.
