MMC Use Policy Workshop
The MMC Use Policy Workshop is a required training session for all students seeking access to the Morehouse Multimedia Center (MMC) facilities, production spaces, and equipment. During this workshop, participants will learn the policies, procedures, and responsibilities associated with using MMC resources, including equipment checkout, facility reservations, safety requirements, and professional conduct expectations.
Students will receive an overview of available MMC services and resources, as well as guidance on best practices for protecting equipment, maintaining shared workspaces, and supporting an equitable access environment for all users.
Successful completion of this workshop is required before students are granted access to MMC equipment and facilities. Attendance will be recorded, and students must remain for the duration of the session to receive certification.

The Morehouse Multimedia Center welcomed acclaimed media professionals and Higher Learning podcast hosts Rachel Lindsay and Van Lathan for an engaging panel discussion with a select group of students. Moderated by Professor Donovan Ramsey, the conversation explored careers in media and the evolving role of digital platforms in shaping public discourse.
Students had the opportunity to engage directly with Lindsay and Lathan, gaining valuable insights from their professional experiences and participating in a thoughtful dialogue about the future of media and content creation.
The event was made possible with support from Spotify, whose continued investment in Morehouse College includes a previous contribution of $30,000 in equipment and scholarships to support student creators and emerging media professionals.
Held ahead of the Higher Learning podcast's live Atlanta show later that evening, the conversation provided students with rare access to industry leaders while reinforcing the Morehouse Multimedia Center's commitment to connecting students with influential voices across the media landscape.
